Dentures & Partial Dentures
Missing teeth can change the appearance of your smile as well as the function of your bite. Normally, teeth support the natural shape of the face, but without them, the face may look sunken and hollow. Without the ability to chew food effectively, your diet can suffer. Depending on the number and location of your missing teeth, there may be several options to restore your dentition; together, we'll help you choose the best possible treatment.
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures may be suggested when you are missing only a few teeth. If the remaining teeth and gums are intact and strong, they may be used as a natural anchor for your partial denture. The patient pictured below has been restored by Dr. Predmore using crowns and partial dentures.
Complete Dentures
When you no longer have any teeth on the dental arch, complete dentures may be an optimal solution. Dentures may be supported by the existing gum and bone, or they may be supported by implants. Our team will discuss all of your options so that you can make an informed decision. Our patient below had severely worn teeth and existing dentures; Dr. Predmore fabricated natural looking upper and lower complete dentures, and the lower denture is supported by two dental implants.
